The Wanted is a Taiwanese A capella group. They have won numerous international A capella championships in their debut year (2014), and are the first band of the genre to release an original Mandarin Chinese album titled “Dear Adult”, which was awarded CASA Best Asian Album in 2020. With this album, The Wanted won the 32nd Golden Melody Award for the Best Vocal Group (2021/8/21). Their latest EP “1% theory” released in 2021 was fully produced and composed by the members.

The Wanted’s trade mark is their vivid vocal performance and their ability to effortlessly switch between solo and choir. They also excel in composing mashups that become incredibly popular amongst their fans, using different solos to express various emotions and music dynamics. They also compose and write their own music, using vocal effects to give A capella music a modern and electronic sound. As an A capella group, they are definitely the new sensation and aim to bring vocal music to an even bigger stage.
